Biography

I received my D.V.M degree and completed a four-year residency in Medical Microbiology, Virology, and Immunology from Medical School. I received both my MPH in Molecular and Hospital Epidemiology and a Ph.D. in Epidemiology Science (Virology) from the University of Michigan. I completed my postdoctoral training in Pathology followed by fellowship training in Molecular Medicine/Genetics, and Hematology/Oncology in the department of Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan. I accepted dual positions of Adjunct Assistant Professor and Research Investigator at the Medical School, University of Michigan. From 2013-2018, I worked as Assistant Professor at the Cancer Therapy Center at University of Massachusetts Boston. Since 2018, I worked as Research Scientist in the Departments of Dermatology and Internal Medicine at University of Michigan. I published over 50 articles in prestigious scientific journals and participated in over 100 presentations at all levels of conference and over 90 abstracts published and have earned fifteen awards. I served on numerous local and national committees and am a member of many societies.

Fibrotic disease in skin and other organ, autoimmunity in skin and other organ, aging skin/photobiology, psoriasis, cutaneous lupus and systemic lupus erythematosus, dermatomyositis, cutaneous bioinformatics, Inflammatory diseases, skin, and lung cancer and dermatopathology
