Biography

Dr. Rao Li is a professor in the Dept. of Computer Science, Engineering, and Mathematics at the University of South Carolina Aiken. He obtained his Ph. D. (with concentration on graph theory) and M.S. (with concentration on computer science) in May 1999. Between August 1999 and May 2001, Dr. Li taught in the School of Computer and Information Sciences at Georgia Southwestern State University. He joined the University of South Carolina Aiken in fall 2001. Dr. Li has been teaching both Mathematics and Computer Science courses at the University of South Carolina Aiken and engaging in research on Graph Theory and algorithmic design and analysis.


Research Interest

Hamiltonian graph theory, spectral graph theory, topological indices in Graph Theory, and the longest common subsequence problem.
