Dr. Karen LEE Yuk-yee
Assistant Professor
Dr. Lee Yuk-yee obtained her DSW from Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2020 and is currently an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Social Sciences at UOW College Hong Kong (UOWCHK). She previously worked at the Peking University-The Hong Kong Polytechnic University China Social Work Research Centre. Her areas of expertise include mental health, social welfare policy, and macro social work in Hong Kong and Mainland China. Dr. Lee has extensive experience in service development, supervision, and teaching across various locations, including Hong Kong, Mongolia, Xi'an, Hangzhou, Jiangmen, Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhongshan, and Dongguan. She has supervised numerous practice and research projects in both Hong Kong and China, employing participatory research method. Dr. Lee is also skilled in Narrative Therapy and has made contributions to the field through her articles.
Her research interests include anti-oppression practice, mental health, social welfare policy, narrative practice and practice research in both Hong Kong and China.
