Biography

Dr. Preya Bhattacharya is an Assistant Professor of Political Science, at The Dr. Mack Henry Jones Department of Political Science, Clark Atlanta University (August 2024-Present). Before joining CAU, she was an Assistant Professor, at the Department of Political Science, Xavier University of Louisiana (August 2023-May 2024); a Postdoctoral Fellow, at The Sam Nunn School of International Affairs, Georgia Institute of Technology (January 2023-July 2023); and an Adjunct Faculty, at the Department of Political Science, Kent State University (August 2020-May 2022). She is currently working on her second monograph, “Microfinance and Post-Conflict Women’s Empowerment in the Balkans: A Qualitative Comparative Analysis”, to be published with Bloomsbury Publishing Inc. She has also published a monograph on, “An Introduction to Panel Data QCA in R, with Chapman & Hall/ CRC Press (August 2024); an edited anthology textbook, on International Relations, titled "The Global Politics Reader: A Foundational Anthology”, with Cognella Academic Publishing (August 2023), and articles on “How to build and analyze a panel data QCA Model? A Methodological Note”, with Methodological Innovations (July 2023), and “What is Ragin’s Indirect Method of Calibration?”, with International Journal of Social Research Methodology, (August 2022).
