The definition of the caregiver is clear and easy to follow.  In paragraph two, the data from NMS supports the article and it may be helpful to add more data about why women are three times more likely to be diagnosed with MS to address the gender concerns.

Approximately 70% of caregiving responsibilities are provided by spouses (Benini et al., 2023). This sentence should be moved to the 7^th or 8th paragraph to support the discussion about the struggles with marital relationships, and to make a connection for the reader.
