From mid of 2023, all the journals of Gexin Publications employ Transparent review process. In light of promoting transparency, accountability, and fostering a more open scientific discourse, we have decided to transition our review process to transparent review. This means that the peer review reports will be published openly alongside the article, providing readers with access to the reviewers' comments and feedback, thereby promoting a greater understanding of the research evaluation process.
If the manuscript is published, the peer review reports will be made available online together with the article. However, any comments that reviewers want to keep confidential between themselves and the authors/editors will not be published. Furthermore, the reviewers' names will not be disclosed in the peer review reports unless explicitly requested by the reviewers themselves. It's important to note that the PDF version of the article will not include the peer review reports.
In the Review process, the handling Editor will solicit at least two expert Reviewers in the field with the title and an abstract of the manuscript to take up the peer review process. Reviewers are expected to give a prompt response when approached. This is intended to advance the correctness, clarity, and wholeness of manuscripts and helps editors to decide whether the manuscript has to be published or not. Reviewers should provide reviews with clear suggestions and honest corrections to the Editor who will again forward the review reports as such to the author for further process.
